Welcome!

Welcome!

Please review our frequently asked question page (link below) before contacting us. Thanks.

Our program specializes in helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by teaching them coping mechanisms through our Trauma Resiliency Program, and by providing them with a custom-trained PTSD service dog. Our program not only pairs participants with a canine partner, but also includes and in depth 3 week Trauma Resiliency Program and follow up support that last the lifetime of the service dog partnership.

During the 3 week in-house program, survivors will work with staff on life skills to help them deal with their trauma and PTSD as well as develop a strong bond and working relationship with their service dog. We also offer a self-defense and optional fire arms safety and certification component with our program - we strongly feel it is important that an individual feel safe and able to defend themselves if necessary.

If you are interesting in applying for the program, please refer to the FOR APPLICANTS page which can be found in the menu at the top of the page. Interested in volunteering or helping with S.A.F.E.? Please visit our CONTRIBUTE page. Thanks and feel free to contact us with any questions.
